I usually go for fiction. Somehow my three picks this time are all non-fiction. Click the book covers for more info. The first book has great advice – and not just for depression.

Not depression, but “what to do in today’s world?” led me to one of the most profound books I’ve ever read. My wish is that it helps others suffer less and enjoy life more.

Mary Klug explored China before it changed forever and had the foresight to champion community building and clean energy along the way. A lovely ode to friendship.

A woman invents a sexual assault evidence kit and gets the 1970s Chicago PD to use it. Kennedy’s search for a hero who disappeared is infuriating, but also redemptive.
